– Why Sintered Stone

Built for Performance.
Designed for Scale.

Sintered stone is made by compressing natural minerals and firing them at up to 1500°C. The result is a dense, non-porous slab that outlasts and outperforms most alternatives — in floors & walls,  kitchens countertops , bathroom vanities, furniture pannels, and beyond.

Heat Resistant

Withstands direct contact with hot cookware. Safe for kitchen countertops and cooking surfaces without discolouration or damage.

Ultra-Low Water Absorption

average ≤ 0.2%. In practice, quality sintered stone from reputable factories often reaches ≤ 0.1%

Thermoforming and cutting ready

Can be cut, heated and bent into curves. Enables rounded countertop edges, integrated basins, and cabinet door profiles.

Eco-Friendly

Made from natural mineral powders with no resin binders. Long product lifespan means less frequent replacement and lower material waste over time.

Sizes & Thickness

Sintered stone is produced in a wide range of large-format sizes and thicknesses. Choosing the right combination depends on the application and your downstream processing setup.

FAQ

Is sintered stone the same as porcelain tile?
Not exactly. Both use similar raw materials, but sintered stone is fired at a higher temperature — usually between 1200°C and 1500°C, compared to up to 1280°C for porcelain. This produces a denser slab with better strength and performance. Sintered stone also supports thermoforming for curved edges and integrated basins, which standard porcelain tile does not.
What thickness should I order for a countertop project?
12mm is the most common starting point for countertops. For large kitchen islands or heavy-use commercial surfaces, 15mm or thicker is recommended. We can advise on the right spec based on your specific project requirements.
Can I order custom colors or sizes?
Yes. Custom colors and sizes are available, with minimum order quantities typically starting from 500 to 1,000m² depending on the specific size, surface finish, and color line you require. We recommend confirming the exact MOQ with us early in your planning process to avoid surprises later.
How do I verify quality before placing a large order?
We recommend requesting physical samples first — and always ask for a full-slab photo, not just a small cut piece, so you can see the complete pattern across the whole slab. For large orders, we support pre-shipment inspections, either third-party or via video walkthrough, before goods leave the factory.
